About Sumemr Program

The Summer Program at RIKEN Information R&D and Strategy Headquarters(R-IH) is designed to encourage young researchers to pursue future research and development in the field of information science, and provides opportunities for domestic and foreign university and graduate school students to conduct research and development activities in the laboratories of the R-IH under the supervision of a laboratory leader.

In this unit, students in the research fields of physics or engineering (electrical and electronic, communication, information, etc.) who wish to study and learn information-related technologies necessary to promote physics research, such as large-scale computation, data analysis, numerical simulation, data collection, data compression, and machine learning. Please refer to the application guidelines for details on schedule and implementation.
