Summer Program Overview
The 2025 Summer Program of the Information Integration Headquarters was held. Led by the Fundamental Physics Data Sharing and Development Unit, this program provides practical training on the management, sharing, and utilization of research data for graduate students and early-career researchers.
Participants learned data-driven scientific methods while actually using RIKEN’s research data infrastructure systems. The Information Integration Headquarters will continue to implement programs aimed at fostering the next generation of researchers.
Activities in 2025
The 2025 Summer Program Internship was conducted from July 24 to September 19. Our unit accepted four students in total: three from Japan and one from Indonesia. During the program, the students worked on research and development, participating in active discussions with RIKEN researchers. On September 12, the Presentation Day was held to report their research achievements made during the program.

In addition, we organized a study session on the “Fugaku” supercomputer at the R-CCS and a laboratory tour at the BDR, providing the students with an opportunity to experience not only information science but also the diverse range of research conducted at RIKEN.
